What do Hushpuppies Shoes, the aids epidemic, and Blues Clues have in common? They all tipped. That is, they grew at an exponential rate. This book explores what it takes to make something gain momentum to the point where it takes on a life of its own. I was having a marketing discussion with a fellow author and he recommended I read it. found this book extremely informative. It hasn’t changed my strategy so much as change my understanding of what I’m trying to do with marketing. This isn’t a step by step guide on how to make a product or idea tip, it’s about the things that need to happen and the kind of people that need to be involved in order for a tip to occur. Definitely worth checking out.
