For my first blog post I wanted to do something special. I don’t expect them all to be uber meaningful or ground breaking but for the first one you know I’m going to bring it. I have been thinking about it for a few days and I thought since I know the best advice in the world, I might as well share it. After all, the best of anything in the world has to be pretty good, and if it were up to me then everyone would know this so why not share it here?
I’m not sure where I got this from but there’s probably someone much smarter than me behind it. It applies to all situations and problems, anywhere in the world. I promise, if you do it, your life will improve. So what is it?
Model yourself after success.
Doesn’t seem all that ground breaking but stay with me. All this means is that if you want something in your life, find someone who has it and ask them how they got it. Then go do what they did, or don’t do what they didn’t do. There are a select few people who can actually create something completely new. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, take the wheel we have, put it on your car, and go somewhere.
This works with any subject; business, relationships, writing, you name it. The challenge with it can be finding someone to talk to about it. We don’t always have access to the most successful people. Luckily, we live in the information age. Something as simple as a Facebook post could turn into a contact that could help you devise a strategy to get where you want to be.
