Incase you weren’t aware, I love cyberpunk. I played cyberpunk 2077 a while ago which I will rate when I complete the game. This is set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077 following a street kid that made his way into an Arasaka school for corpo kids. After his mother is killed in a crossfire he gets his first major piece of cyberware and starts heading down the path to becoming a merc. He starts running with some new friends and learning the trade, eventually taking over the group.
I was really impressed with this show. It was written really well, much better than I would expect a cyberpunk anime. There’s character growth, struggle, pain and loss. One of the major plotlines is a love story. It’s not what you think though. This show is a legit old school Shakespeare tragedy. I think that’s one of the reasons I liked it so much. We just don’t see many tragedies of this caliber. I was rooting for the main character so much. It really drew me in and made me empathize with the plight of the main character. Its ten episodes long and each episode is around 25 minutes. That means its bingeable in the time it would take to watch a long movie. Excellent show, Check it out!
